About us

The National Institute’s Policy, Strategy and Leadership Course (PSLC) Association brings together graduates of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies’ specialised course on policy, strategy and leadership.

We are a community of professionals from the public, private and non-profit sectors who share a common goal: to use our collective experience and knowledge to improve public policy and strengthen leadership in Nigeria.

Our Association supports members’ welfare, upholds the ideals of the National Institute, and builds partnerships with organisations and stakeholders that are committed to nation-building and positive social impact. Through collaboration, learning and advocacy, we strive to make a meaningful difference in our institutions and communities.

Annual General Meeting

  • The Association holds its Annual General Meeting (Annual General Meeting) within the 3rd quarter, but not later than the 10th Month of each year

National Policy, Strategy and Leadership Conference

  • The Association holds its National Policy, Strategy and Leadership Conference as part of the event mark Nigeria’s independence anniversary by the first week of October annually.

PSLC Annual Lecture

  • Our annual lecture series speak to the most pressing national topic of the year, providing a platform for proffering solutions for national challenges.

PSLC Members Welfare Scheme

  • Our welfare scheme is a comprehensive commitment to ensure that the overall wellbeing and growth of our members are advanced and supported.

ANNUAL GENERAL CONFERENCE 2025

The National Institute PSLC Association will host its Annual General Conference (AGC) 2025 from 30 September to 2 October in Abuja. This two-day gathering brings together participants of the Policy, Strategy and Leadership Course from across the country to exchange ideas, strengthen networks and chart the next phase of our Association’s growth.


The programme features an AGC cocktail reception, keynote address, interactive panel sessions, tea breaks for informal networking, a members-only AGC meeting, and the election of new national executives. It is designed to inspire collaboration, showcase innovative thinking and reaffirm our collective commitment to national development and the ideals of the National Institute.

Governance

Governance structure

We are governed by a structured system that allows for efficiency, accountability and inclusivity. Our constitution provides for a Board of Trustees, a National Executive Council, a Committee of Presidents, the General Assembly, Regional Representatives, and State Chapter Representatives. Through these structures, we drive and implement programmes that impact our members and contribute to national development.
